Christmas day 2012

Christmas was lovely.
Exhausting.
But lovely.

I was up til 2 am getting things assembled and put out etc.
I went to put a load of washing on with my favourite top in it on to wash so I could dry it quickly in the morning to wear. But I discovered my machine has died. It had washed four loads that day so I am grateful it waited til I had almost caught up to die. I am just really not liking having no washing machine.

I then slept very poorly as I kept remembering things I needed to do.
At 7am we were up.

Santa has of course been to our home.

My pressies to the kids were out on display. They were very pleased.

We checked out their stocking fillers. They scooted up and down the street, chatting to the other kiddos on our street about what they got for Christmas.

Then my mum, her partner and my little sister came for breakfast.

The kiddos and I then had an hour and a half to yourselves then we went to my dad his partners home for a Delicious lunch. We then went to the beach for almost 2 hours. Then home to dads for dessert and some blobbing out.

We then went to nan and pops house for a catchup.

We then got home a little after 7 pm.
The kiddos got sorted and went to their dads house for a quiet night and some time with him.

I then went to my besties house for a catchup and a rundown of her Christmas. And a bourbon or two. It was a perfect end to a great day.

Little man came home on boxing day night but the big kiddos are still with their dad enjoying summer days with their dad.

Little man and i are enjoying some quiet time at home, playing with new things, visiting friends and family etc.
Its been a lovely holiday season.

Tonight will mark a new year.
One I have been spending all day pondering about. Thinking what I want to come from the year. My goals and resolutions.
